Adquiriu um computador Dell Desktop R7 hexagonal Intel Alienware i7, que vem com a placa Bluetooth com fio / sem fio Killer 1535.
Levou para casa e instalou o 16.04.
Durante a instalação, o Ubuntu não reconheceu nem minha conexão com fio nem o sinal da rota sem fio.
Após a instalação de um DVD / CD, ainda não há reconhecimento da Internet.
Nenhuma assistência on-line até agora funcionou. Nem mesmo o link do Killer .

Um novo download e instalação resolveu o problema.
Meu computador é a versão mais recente do Dell i7 Aurora R7 com uma placa ethernet 1535 Killer (com / sem fio / Bluetooth). Uma versão de um ano de idade não funcionou. No entanto, um novo download e instalação fizeram o truque!

Acho que você deve usar um cabo Cat 5e (Ethernet azul com extremidades RJ-45) e conectá-lo entre o laptop e o roteador. Espero que você tenha uma placa Ethernet separada e não seja uma placa combinada com fio / sem fio / Bluetooth como você foi levado a acreditar.
