Que tipo de arquivo é o arquivo README em sudoers.d?

Apenas curioso ... imaginei que seria um bom arquivo para ler com todos os meus privilégios administrativos e não ... LOL. Não será aberto, pois o Ubuntu não pode identificar o tipo de arquivo.

Não se preocupe, eu não vou mudar isso, eu prometo

É um arquivo simples somente texto. Você pode lê-lo executando

sudo less /etc/sudoers.d/README

Este arquivo não é tão importante para a função do sistema, portanto, se você editá-lo, não é grande coisa.

"não será aberto"? Como você está tentando abri-lo? Aqui estão alguns comandos que usei no meu sistema:
