O que é “o-o---preferred---yh---www.google.com”?

Estou usando a pesquisa do Google no Chrome e notei que a URL parece muito estranha. Eu procurei algo e obtive resultados normais. De alguma forma, o URL na barra de endereços chamou minha atenção e ficou assim:

Isso me assustou. Alguém sabe o que isso significa? Você já viu isso antes?

É um domínio de infraestrutura do Google. Ele pode ser verificado usando um dig (ou o comando dig no Linux). Leia os comentários acima. :)

Você não deve ver este domínio, porque normalmente ele está oculto, mas às vezes pode haver uma falha no roteamento de rede ou um problema no servidor que faz com que seja visto.
