Lote de erros por insserv em operações do apt-get depois de tentar instalar o tomcat

Eu queria instalar o tomcat na minha máquina Debian 6.0.4. Eu tentei apt-get install tomcat6-user , que funcionou bem. Mas então mudei de idéia sobre a instalação do usuário e queria instalar o pacote tomcat6. Isso resultou em vários erros (veja abaixo).

Agora, o que eu tente fazer com o apt-get ou com o aptitude (tentando remover o tomcat6-user, tentando remover o tomcat6, tentando executar uma atualização do apt-get, ...) resulta na mesma lista de erros .

Como consegui isso? E como posso consertar isso?

OK, eu entendi. Eu criei meu próprio script iptables-common que contém apenas algumas regras estáticas do iptables. A exclusão desse script resolveu o problema. Embora eu esteja confuso que isso nunca foi antes de um problema. Talvez porque o tomcat adiciona regras de iptable ...

Quando você olha para outros scripts em /etc/init.d/, pode perceber que eles começam com uma seção específica como a seguinte:

# Required-Start:    iptables
# Required-Stop:
# Default-Start:     S
# Default-Stop:
# Short-Description: Initialize iptables rules.
# Description:
### END INIT INFO

Ao adicionar essa seção, os erros encontrados ao tentar instalar o tomcat não existiriam mais.
