Alguém pode resolver esse erro? Depois de configurar o emacs e executar make, recebo o seguinte:

Isso produz um makefile, mas não funciona. Alguma sugestão?

If you are sure you want Emacs compiled without an X toolkit, pass --with-x-toolkit=no
to configure. Otherwise, install the development libraries for the toolkit
that you want to use (e.g. Gtk+) and re-run configure.


Então parou e pediu para você escolher:

  • Você decide criar um programa somente de modo de texto. Mas então, você precisa informar o configure claramente.
    Execute como:

    ./configure --with-x-toolkit=no

    Note que, mesmo que você não queira usar as funções da GUI, pode ser bom criar com o X
    suporte, porque a área de transferência do sistema é handeled por X, e você pode precisar acessá-lo.

  • Ou você fornece alguma biblioteca GUI, kit de ferramentas X11 etc; Provavelmente você precisa instalar alguns pacotes de desenvolvimento para o X

    tente instalar este conjunto de pacotes - você já pode ter a maior parte dele.

Você quer compilar o emacs, mas se quiser instalá-lo, o Ubuntu tem a versão 24.3, com e sem o X: apt-get install emacs24 ou com emacs24-nox

Você deve instalar a biblioteca de desenvolvimento do GTK +. É melhor compilar o Emacs contra o GTK + 3 e não a versão mais antiga que é o GTK + 2.

$ sudo apt-get install libgtk-3-dev
