vmware player no ubuntu 15.10

4

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "unity-gtk-module": libunity-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

(vmware-modconfig:9701): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "murrine",

Neste ponto, ele me pede para compilar e carregar vários módulos no kernel.

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "overlay-scrollbar"
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "unity-gtk-module"

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"

(vmware-gksu:9701): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Two different plugins tried to register 'BasicEngineFc'.

(vmware-gksu:9701): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_new: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed

(vmware-gksu:9701): Pango-WARNING **: Failed to load Pango module '/usr/lib/vmware/libconf/lib/pango/1.6.0/modules/pango-basic-fc.so' for id 'BasicScriptEngineFc'

(vmware-gksu:9701): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Two different plugins tried to register 'BasicEngineFc'.

(vmware-gksu:9701): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_new: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed

UPDATE: se eu tentar executar sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all , a saída é

(K) Ubuntu 15.10 com o Kernel 4.2.0-17 e o VMPlayer 7.1.2:

  1. abre um terminal, por exemplo. Konsole
  2. cd /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source
  3. sudo tar -xf vmnet.tar

sudo joe vmnet-only/vmnetInt.h

    old: PF_NETLINK, _pri, &vmnet_proto)

    novo: PF_NETLINK, _pri, &vmnet_proto, 1)

sudo tar -uf vmnet.tar vmnet-only/vmnetInt.h

  1. execute o vmplayer novamente, ele deve ser construído agora

sudo vmplayer

echo /usr/lib/vmware/lib/libglibmm-2.4.so.1 | sudo tee -a /etc/ld.so.conf.d/LD_LIBRARY_PATH.conf

Em seguida, execute:

sudo ldconfig

$ uname -a
Linux Shan-Ubuntu 4.2.0-19-generic #23-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 11 11:39:30 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Em primeiro lugar, removi o VMWare Player instalado anteriormente usando as seguintes linhas:

sudo vmware-installer -u vmware-player
sudo vmware-installer -u vmware-player

sudo apt-get install libcanberra-gtk*

cguevara@xps:~$ vmplayer

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"

(vmware-gksu:12917): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Two different plugins tried to register 'BasicEngineFc'.

Saída após:

cguevara@xps:~$ vmplayer
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

GLib-GIO-Message: Using the 'memory' GSettings backend. Your settings will not be saved or shared with other applications.

[at this point is running again]

Espero que isso ajude.

Eu tive o mesmo problema, nada propôs ajudou.
