Meu HP ProBook 4530s ficou muito mais quente com o Ubuntu Linux do que com o Windows 7

Eu tenho um ProBook 4530S com o Windows 7 nele. Eu tenho os drivers de software daqui .

Acabei de instalar o Ubuntu 11.04 x64 nele. Estou percebendo que o notebook ficou muito mais quente , mesmo depois de instalar o driver da ATI (que obtive no site da ATI)

Existem drivers que eu preciso instalar? (É o Intel 2 nd Gen Core i5)

De acordo com o site do driver da HP , não há muitos drivers relacionados ao chipset que eu preciso instalar - apenas o driver ATI, que eu já recebi da ATI website e o driver Intel VGA.

Eu tenho o mesmo problema. Desativar o gráfico discreto da BIOS resolveu o problema. Agora o ventilador é regular.

Espero que minha resposta seja útil para alguém que possa trabalhar com a integração de gráficos discretos com o Ubuntu, ou ajudar alguém que está formatando apenas por ter o ventilador sempre em execução.
