O Ubuntu verifica apenas 5 links no sudo apt-get update

Question

Eu instalei o Ubuntu 16.04 LTS hoje e depois habilitei o universo por:

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) main universe restricted multiverse"

Depois disso eu corri:

sudo apt-get update

e a lista mostrou muitos links.

Depois disso, executei o Software Updater , que travou no meio do caminho . Depois que a reinicialização instalou as atualizações, mas depois de reiniciar novamente, sempre que eu corro o apt-get update, apenas 5 links aparecem ao invés do 50 ~ 60 antes.

sudo apt-get update busca Índices da lista de pacotes dos repositórios. Mas o faz com um pedido, tanto para segurança quanto para reduzir o tamanho do download dos índices do pacote.

Para cada repositório ,

Primeiro , ele tenta corresponder o tempo de modificação do arquivo InRelease (que é um arquivo de assinatura Inline) no repositório online com o que já foi baixado no seu computador (se houver qualquer).

• Se achar que o arquivo InRelease não está modificado no repositório on-line, ele não procederá ao download do arquivo de índice (Packages.gz etc), que é maior e ao índice real, desde que já está baixado no seu computador. Como a assinatura não modificada significa que o arquivo de índice não foi modificado.

• Se descobrir que a data de modificação do arquivo InRelease foi alterada, primeiro obterá o arquivo InRelease . Em seguida, tente novamente corresponder a soma de verificação (encontrada em InRelease file) ao índice já baixado. Se isso corresponder, não fará o download do índice. Caso contrário, faz o download do índice.

Há mais coisas feitas por trás da cena. Mas basicamente no seu caso, isso significa que, uma vez que você acabou de atualizar a lista de pacotes com sudo apt-get update , é normal ter uma saída mais curta depois, porque neste período de tempo mais curto nada no repositório mudou.

É um comportamento normal, não precisa se preocupar. Por alguma razão, é irritantemente difícil encontrar documentação sobre as mudanças do apt-get para o apt, mas houve uma mudança durante o ciclo de lançamento 16.04 (ou possivelmente na versão anterior, 15.10) para mudar para a nova ferramenta apt, que somente atualiza as fontes que são diferentes, eu acho que usa somas de verificação para ver se os arquivos de fontes realmente mudaram.
