Receba de volta geeky grub [duplicate]

Question

Instalei o Ubuntu Natty, mas não gosto do carregador. A tela do puplle me dá nos nervos e sinto falta de ver toda a ação do dmesg. Infelizmente eu não sei nada sobre grub e eu não sei como devo configurá-lo para obtê-lo como eu quero. Alguém poderia me ajudar?

Remova as opções splash e quiet de /etc/default/grub , em seguida, execute update-grub e você está trabalhando.
