Configure o controlador USB 3.0 apenas para USB 2.0

Eu tenho uma máquina Sony Vaio VPCF1, com apenas portas USB 3.0. Eu tenho um dispositivo USB 2.0 que parece não funcionar nessas portas. (Conectando-se a outra máquina com portas USB 2.0 e outro conjunto de portas USB 3.0, conecta-se apenas ao USB 2.0).

Então eu me perguntei se existe uma maneira de configurar o controlador USB para o modo USB 2.0 ou algo assim?
