Meu antigo laptop Windows 7 pro sp1 está se tornando lento.
Ele congela aleatoriamente por entre 1 e 3 segundos antes de exibir um menu de contexto, ou ao alternar entre as janelas.
Após longas pesquisas, suspeito que o disco rígido, mas o Windows não relata nenhum erro.
Smartctl mostra-me que o Transição da unidade PhyRdy para conduzir PhyNRdy SATA Phy Event contador está aumentando rapidamente (cerca de uma vez por segundo):

3 monthes depois ... Finalmente eu substituí o 320Gb TOSHIBA MK3261GSYN original por um Western Digital 500 Gb WD5000BPKX (eu restaurei as partições originais e sistema, o Windows instalou apenas um novo driver na primeira reinicialização).
Isso resolveu o problema de latência, não tenho mais medo de abrir o Word ou o Visual Studio (embora o índice do Windows não tenha mudado!).
No entanto, o smartctl ainda mostra esse contador "Transição do PhyRdy do drive para o PhyNRdy" aumentando em 2 / segundos.
