Cartão Sem Fio Descarregando Muitas Mensagens de Log (13GiB + por algumas horas)

Question

Meu adaptador wi-fi USB (TL-WN822N em execução no Fedora 20 com o adaptador ath9k_htc) parece estar funcionando bem, mas está descarregando mensagens de depuração semelhantes várias vezes por segundo. As mensagens são tão grandes e tão frequentes que acabei tendo um arquivo / var / log / messages de > 13GiB, parando apenas porque minha partição raiz ficou sem espaço.

Eu embaralhei alguns dispositivos e, aparentemente, isso só acontece quando o adaptador é conectado através do hub USB.

Alguns outros detalhes:

• Eu não acho que seja por causa de uma mudança no driver, já que o problema ocorre com todos os três kernels que tenho e tenho certeza que teria notado no mesmo dia que qualquer um dos upgrades do kernel
• O problema ocorreu logo após a mudança de volta para o driver open source radeon após a mudança para os drivers fglrx proprietários recentemente; não sei por que isso seria relacionado, mas é a única outra coisa relacionada ao kernel que eu fiz recentemente

Eu reitero que, além das mensagens de erro, minha conexão de rede está funcionando perfeitamente. Deve ter sido gerado por algumas horas antes mesmo de eu notar.

Seu adaptador Wi-Fi USB requer um patch. Os seguintes comandos funcionam no Debian, não devem ser tão diferentes no Fedora. Eu suponho que você tem cabeçalhos Linux e tudo o que é necessário para compilar o código-fonte.
