Host de destino inacessível entre caixas de linux

Eu tenho uma rede wifi doméstica com 2 sistemas linux e 1 mac. Eu posso alcançar cada linux do mac e outras formas, mas uma tentativa de pingar um linux de outro linux resulta com o erro "Destination Host Unreachable" em ambos os sistemas.

O que pode causar isso e como corrigi-lo? Eu desabilitei todos os firewalls em ambos os sistemas Linux:

UPDATE

Aparentemente, estou perdendo algumas configurações inteligentes em BT Smart Hub . Tudo funciona com roteador menos sofisticado.
