A pergunta foi feita há muitos anos, mas isso funciona para mim: optirun nvidia-settings -c: 8
Instalei o Bumblebee, ele carrega o driver nvidia corretamente ... Eu posso ver isso em /proc/drivers
:
quux@quux-Ideapad-Z570 ~ $ cat /proc/driver/nvidia/version
NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86 Kernel Module 319.60 Wed Sep 25 13:58:16 PDT 2013
GCC version: gcc version 4.8.1 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.8.1-10ubuntu9)
quux@quux-Ideapad-Z570 ~ $
Mas o driver não funciona bem, tentei 304, 304 atualizações e 319 atualizações:
Dá muito menos fps que um integrado. A ferramenta de benchmark glmark2 classificou a Nvidia com 59 pontos e integrou a Intel-751!
Quando eu executo optirun nvidia-settings
, ele diz que You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run
nvidia-xconfig as root), and restart the X server.
. Configuração do Bumblebee:
[bumblebeed]
# The secondary Xorg server DISPLAY number
VirtualDisplay=:8
# Should the unused Xorg server be kept running? Set this to true if waiting
# for X to be ready is too long and don't need power management at all.
KeepUnusedXServer=false
# The name of the Bumbleblee server group name (GID name)
ServerGroup=bumblebee
# Card power state at exit. Set to false if the card shoud be ON when Bumblebee
# server exits.
TurnCardOffAtExit=false
# The default behavior of '-f' option on optirun. If set to "true", '-f' will
# be ignored.

# The Driver used by Bumblebee server. If this value is not set (or empty),
# auto-detection is performed. The available drivers are nvidia and nouveau

Como você pode ver na configuração eu até tentei usar o xorg.conf gerado pelo nvidia-xconfig
ao invés do Bumblebee xorg.conf.nvidia, o resultado é o mesmo.
