No meu sistema Windows 7 Ultimate, o serviço Log de Eventos não inicia mais. Eu recebo a resposta Error 2: Cannot find the file specified . Eu verifiquei meu sistema, mas infelizmente não consegui encontrar nenhum motivo para esse comportamento. Todos os diretórios de log existem ( System32\winevt ). Pode ser um problema de permissão em um desses diretórios.
Além disso, sfc /scannow não consegue encontrar nenhum motivo (com sucesso).
O pior é que todos os serviços dependentes também pararam de funcionar:

If you have the above error (Cannot find the file specified) when trying to start the windows event log, then have no fear, for I may have the solution. If you have tried everything else online, then try this fix. Open up regedit, and delete the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\eventlog\Parameters
Basically, a hotfix (not sure which) malforms that registry key, rendering the event log useless.
