A melhor solução ao atualizar para uma nova versão principal do OS X é:
/opt/local ). No seu caso, não tenho certeza se você instalou o MacPorts mais recente depois de atualizar para o Snow Leopard. Espero que isso funcione. Mais detalhes podem ser encontrados no Wiki MacPorts .
