Quando executo o Ubuntu conectado automaticamente à rede sem fio, mas não consigo me conectar à Internet até desativar Desativar, ative a rede,

Eu infelizmente não tenho uma resposta, mas tenho exatamente o mesmo problema no meu laptop Vaio com um adaptador wifi WiMax 6250. Eu encontrei ultimamente eu tenho que remover o SSID e sua configuração e adicionar novamente, então ele começa a funcionar. Caso contrário, recebo um endereço IP do roteador que é válido, mas não consigo pingar, verificar uma rota, etc. Nada. Eu acho que é um bug, mas ainda não é possível localizá-lo.

Tente instalar os novos backports de driver, às vezes uma correção de um driver será retornada para uma versão estável. Instale este pacote (ou apenas clique no link):

linux-backports-modules-cw-2.6.39-natty -genérica

Em seguida, reinicie e veja se isso ajuda.
