Nova configuração de monitor duplo no debian xfce

Tenho certeza de que isso pertence a outro site de pilha, mas não sei qual deles.

De qualquer maneira, eu tenho usado Arch com monitores duplos por um tempo, eventualmente, uma atualização do sistema de alguma forma arruinou meus drivers de vídeo, e eu estava preso com apenas um monitor. Eu lidei com isso por um tempo, mas depois parou de inicializar. Eu amo o Arch, mas não tenho tempo.

Eu mudei para o Debian com o Xfce, e parece que não consigo reconhecer o segundo monitor, alguém pode me apontar para a pilha certa ou apenas dar alguma ajuda?

Eu consegui trabalhar com o Arch depois de um final de semana de trabalho, mas esperava que o Debian fosse um pouco mais fácil para mim.

Eu posso fornecer mais saída. Quando eu carreguei o Arch pela última vez, a CLI mostrou dois monitores, mas o Xfce não.

Obrigado um milhão! Eu estava a cerca de 1 dia de entregar um amigo um novo site de negócios simples (amigo preço - livre :)), ele também gostaria de receber.

Se alguém me disser que o Gnome irá magicamente resolver tudo, eu posso reinstalar, mas eu comecei a amar o xfce.

Estou pessoalmente usando o driver nvidia opensource com xrandr para lidar com minha tela dupla.

A única configuração está no meu .xinitrc:

xrandr --output DVI-0 -s 3840x1080
xrandr --output DVI-0 --mode 1920x1080
xrandr --output DVI-1 --mode 1920x1080
xrandr --output DVI-0 --left-of DVI-1

Você provavelmente terá algumas modificações para ajustá-lo à sua configuração.

EDITAR

No seu diretório home, você tem um arquivo .xinitrc . Esse arquivo é lido pelo comando startx ou pelo gerenciador de conexões, como slim.

Eu não sei qual gerenciador de conexões você está usando, mas assumindo que você está usando o comando startx você tem que editar seu arquivo .xinitrc e adicionar as linhas anteriores antes de começar o xfce4.

Exemplo de arquivo .xinitrc que tenho em uma caixa do archlinux executando xfce4:
