Como trazer o wireless depois que às vezes ele desce na reinicialização (wlan0 up dá erro)?

Eu corro (K) o Ubuntu 12.10 / 12.04 em uma inicialização tripla com o Windows 7 e acesso a Intenet sem fio. Isso funciona perfeitamente na maioria das vezes. Às vezes, após uma reinicialização normal, a conexão sem fio desaparece. No Ubuntu, ele se manifesta em "Dispositivo não pronto" sendo mostrado no Network Manager, e no Kubuntu, a Interface WLAN está "Indisponível" no widget correspondente do KDE Network Manager. Normalmente, quando disponível, o SSID da minha conexão sem fio é exibido e eu automaticamente me conecto a ele.

Neste ponto, a única coisa que me ajuda a recuperar o wireless é entrar e sair do Windows 7 e voltar ao (K) Ubuntu. No entanto, gostaria de poder corrigir o problema sem ter que depender do Windows 7.

Eu tentei ativar o wireless manualmente:

OBSERVAÇÕES:
1. Sem fio parece ser perdido aleatoriamente, por vezes, em uma reinicialização (ambos após a instalação de algumas atualizações e também quando nenhum foi instalado antes da reinicialização)
2. Quando é perdido em um dos (K) Ubuntu's, ele também não está disponível no outro depois de inicializar nele. 3. A única coisa que traz de volta o wireless é reiniciar no Windows 7 e voltar

Como posso reativar minha rede sem fio neste caso?

Você já tentou adicionar manualmente o servidor de volta à sua lista? Basta ir ao separador da Internet e clicar em "editar ligações". Clique na guia sem fio e clique em adicionar. Você tem que saber o nome do servidor e senha, mas tenho certeza que você faz. Se isso não funcionar, talvez tente reiniciar seu wi-fi, desconectando-o e conectando-o novamente.
