Meu laptop, um MSI GS70 Stealth Pro, construiu uma versão em um dispositivo Bluetooth que o Ubuntu parece não reconhecer.
Quando vou para System Settings > Bluetooth , diz No Bluetooth adapters found .

Como corrijo este problema?
Este problema existe porque o Atheros reutilizou o chip VID e PID.

Como solução alternativa, você pode corrigir o módulo btusb.c e alterá-lo para ath3k em Roma.
Eu criei um pacote DKMS para corrigir esse problema e enviei para o meu PPA.

Instale este deb e reinicie. Isso deve corrigir o problema.

Eu tive que fazer o seguinte (adicionar o Chipset-ID ao btusb-driver-patch do Pilot6) para executar o meu adaptador Bluetooth no Acer Aspire V17 Nitro VN7-791G-72FC com Atheros Combo-Card com Bluetooth Chipset Lite-On :
