O Centrino Wireless-N 1000 demora uma eternidade para se conectar e continua pedindo senha

Alguns dias atrás, comecei a ter esse problema.

Quando tentei me conectar a qualquer conexão WiFi, ela ficava conectada para sempre e, depois de um minuto, ela me pedia a senha novamente.

O estranho é que isso aconteceu do nada, eu não instalei nenhum driver novo ou algo assim. Depois que isso aconteceu, decidi desinstalar o Ubuntu e instalá-lo novamente ("dentro do Windows"), mas o problema ainda está lá. Qualquer sugestão seria muito apreciada.

tente ajustar o tamanho do buffer

sudo echo 83886080 > /proc/sys/net/core/wmem_max
