PCMCIA não funciona no Dell Latitude no Windows XP

As placas PCMCIA não funcionam no Dell Latitude e5510 no Windows XP. Funciona bem no Windows 7. Os cartões são reconhecidos pelo Gerenciador de dispositivos, mas não funcionam corretamente. Por exemplo, o adaptador CF não reconhece quando um cartão é inserido e a placa de rede não consegue obter um endereço IP.

Localize a seguinte chave no regedit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Pcmcia\Parameters

Adicione um REG_DWORD denominado IrqRouteToPciController e atribua um valor de 8.

Reinicialize e tente o PCMCIA novamente.
