Problemas ao instalar o unetbootin no ubuntu 16.04

Você pode usar etcher como alternativa unetbootin

eu gosto disso para uma interface simples

mkusb pode fazer isso por você

• crie uma unidade de instalação simples do Ubuntu (somente ao vivo)
• faça um live drive persistente com o Ubuntu
• limpe a unidade (sobrescreva o primeiro megabyte ou a unidade inteira com zeros)
• restaure a unidade para um dispositivo de armazenamento em massa padrão
