Como evito o ciclo WiFi entre conectado e desconectado?

Meu amigo tem um Acer Aspire 5733Z-4851 que ele mantém desconectando e conectando ao seu wifi, mas seu fio rígido funcionará bem. Alguma sugestão?

Este é um problema conhecido com o atheros wi-fi e o módulo acer_wmi.

Experimente a listagem negra acer_wmi

pressionando Ctrl + Alt + T e colando o texto abaixo em:

echo blacklist acer-wmi | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-acer-wmi

Você pode reiniciar ou inserir sudo rmmod acer-wmi

Se isso não funcionar e você quiser reverter,

remova /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-acer-wmi (clicando em sua pasta Home, clicando em 'File System' em 'Computer' no painel esquerdo, clicando duas vezes em etc e depois em modprobe.d e excluindo o arquivo 'blacklist-acer-wmi ')
