Saída do console colorido no Linux

Existe uma opção --color em muitos softwares GNU como ls por exemplo. Então, eu quero que os programas que têm essa opção ( --color auto ) para usá-lo por padrão, mesmo que não seja escrito.

Eu uso o Arch Linux e o Live CD console tem saída colorida, mas um instalado não.

Você pode criar um alias para esses comandos, para que esses comandos sempre usem essas opções.

Por exemplo

alias ls='ls --color auto'

Agora, toda vez que você usar ls , ele será expandido para ls --color auto .

alias é um shell embutido, então a sintaxe pode variar dependendo do seu shell.

Basta colocar esses aliases em um dos arquivos executados quando você inicia o seu shell.

Você pode usar um adorável arquivo .bashrc do Linux Mint.

Entre em sua pasta pessoal, copie o arquivo .bashrc para .bashrc_backup e crie um novo .bashrc contendo:
