O daemon do Docker não inicia mais com o kernel 3.19.0-21

Na terça-feira, recebi uma atualização do Kernel de 3.19.0-20 a 3.19.0-21 no meu laptop (Latitude E6520). Na reinicialização eu tive pânico no kernel, então eu peguei 3.19.0-20 do menu de inicialização e tudo estava bem para o resto do dia. No dia seguinte (ou seja, ontem), o kernel 3.19.0-21 foi inicializado sem problemas e estava tudo em execução OK exceto o daemon do Docker. A reinicialização com o kernel 3.19.0-20 corrige-o. Alguém tem uma ideia de como desbloqueá-lo? Caso contrário, configurarei o 3.19.0-20 como meu kernel padrão até a próxima atualização.

ATUALIZAÇÃO: o Docker 1.7 não resolve o problema. Log é diferente embora (veja abaixo).

Então, parecia que o Kernel não estava instalado corretamente: ele também quebrou o WiFi ( lspci -k não estava mostrando nenhum driver para o meu carrinho WiFi).

Após vários dias executando o antigo Kernel exclusivamente, e tendo problemas com o Docker também (devido a uma alteração no Docker 1.7, consulte link ) Eu tentei reinstalar o novo Kernel ( sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-image-3.19.0-21-generic ) e aconteceu de funcionar.

O Aufs não está mais incluído no pacote do kernel do Ubuntu. (modprobe aufs vai dar um erro)

Porque a sobreposição está incluído desde 3.18. Então você pode usar isso apenas para o docker. (Eu não tenho ideia sobre migração.)

Uma abordagem é iniciar o contêiner do Docker diretamente:

Acabei de iniciar o docker deamon via:

$ sudo docker -d -s overlay

em vez de

$ sudo docker -d

e funcionou para mim.

No entanto, desde que eu queria executar o daemon do docker via

sudo service start docker

Eu tive que editar o arquivo:

$ vim /etc/default/docker
