Nas últimas semanas, meu laptop está quase inutilizável:
- quase cada clique leva segundos para reagir
- Não consigo reproduzir vídeo e navegar na Internet (manual de referência, consistindo principalmente de texto) ao mesmo tempo (o vídeo fica constantemente a congelar por períodos de cerca de meio minuto ou mais)
- quando tento salvar um pequeno arquivo de texto no vim (por exemplo, durante a programação), o LED de disco acende por 1-2 segundos, salvando esse arquivo (não é incomum que eu mude para console diferente e comece a compilação antes do o arquivo é salvo e a compilação é executada com a versão antiga do arquivo)
- O LED do HDD está brilhando quase o tempo todo
- etc, etc.
Há mais um problema: Ocasionalmente, pequenos pontos verdes aparecem aleatoriamente na tela, apenas para desaparecer depois de algum tempo (atualizar talvez?). Isso não acontece o tempo todo, porém - é realmente apenas na ocasião.
O laptop em questão é:
- HP EliteBook 8760w (por isso não é muito lento para fazer o trabalho que eu quero fazer)
- Debian wheezy e KDE
- Já atualizei o kernel algumas vezes na tentativa de resolver o problema e a versão atual é 3.2.0-4-686-pae.
- A placa gráfica é um controlador compatível com VGA 01: 00.0: NVIDIA Corporation GF104 [Quadro 3000M] (rev a1).
Eu também executei testes SMART no meu disco rígido, mas (principalmente) parece estar ok (pelo menos para mim) - veja a saída no final deste post (sim, é / dev / sdb, porque / dev / sda é a partição de inicialização no dispositivo USB e o resto dos meus sistemas de arquivos são criptografados).
Eu estava pesquisando bastante e tentei todos os truques propostos que encontrei, mas ainda sem sucesso. Alguém experimentou problemas semelhantes? Alguém tem idéia de como posso resolver esse problema?
