Faça o download e use o instalador alternativo do Ubuntu. Eu vi problemas semelhantes como esse e o instalador alternativo funcionou para mim.

Estou tentando instalar o Ubuntu na minha máquina, já que o Windows está bagunçado.
A tela que vejo é:
Preparing to install Ubuntu

(green check) is connected to the Internet

Ubuntu uses third part software...

Quando eu bato para frente, recebo esta mensagem:
The installer has detected that the following disks have mounted partitions:
/dev/sda/
Do you want the installer to try and unmount the partitions on these disks
before continuing? If you leave them mounted, you will not be able to create,
delete, or resize partitions on these disks, but you may be able to install
to existing partitions there.
Eu escolho sim, pois não quero mexer com nenhuma partição do windows.
Em seguida, ele se senta e não se move. Eu vejo o ícone de "espera" e ele gira, mas não faz mais nada. Eu posso escolher sair, mas isso é tudo que posso fazer.
Algum conselho sobre o que está acontecendo? Isso é um problema no disco rígido?
