Eu estou rodando o Ubntu 9.04, e tinha o adobe flash e o air running fine (o que significava que eu tinha o meu amado tweetdeck). Então eu corri o zelador do sistema, e o tweetdeck foi embora. Desde então, não consegui fazer o flash voltar a funcionar. Parece que eu instalei corretamente, a página de teste na Adobe mostra flash em execução, mas sempre que tento reproduzir conteúdo em flash, ele me diz que estou perdendo um plugin (mas não me permite instalá-lo). Alguma ideia? Eu já executei atualizações do sistema e afins.
Você já tentou primeiro desinstalar e reinstalar?
Tente isto:
Take a look in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins and see what's there. There may be a sym link to Flash 7 (especially if you upgraded a distro that already had it installed). Remove that sym link (or .so file), and all should be well. You can then install the latest version, and it should be the only one recognized.
Você assegurou que ubuntu-restricted-extras está instalado? Isso deve instalar corretamente o flash em todo o sistema (incluindo o plugin do Firefox).
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
