O Gmail não está funcionando no Chrome

Estou tentando abrir minha conta do Gmail. Eu não sou capaz de. Estou recebendo este erro:

This site can’t be reached

mail.google.com refused to connect.
Try:
Reloading the page
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
Other services are working fine.

Uma coisa que eu observei é que, quando tentei abrir o gmail no IE, o idioma padrão era portuguise (Brasil). Quando tentei alterá-lo para inglês, estou recebendo este erro no IE:

 The webpage cannot be found 
 HTTP 404  
 Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

   What you can try: 
     Retype the address.  

     Go back to the previous page. 

     Go to  and look for the information you want.

Eu tentei limpar os dados do navegador. O Chrome está atualizado. Então, qual pode ser o problema? Por favor, ajude-me.
