ubuntu 14.04 ifconfig não mostra eth0

Eu tenho o Ubuntu 14.04 LTS no Asus EeePC 1215b e não consigo me conectar à conexão de internet com fio. Eu sei que não é configuração de bios (Lan está habilitado). Eu tentei descobrir mais sobre o estado da conexão, então essas são as soluções que encontrei:

Eu realmente não sei como posso fazer minha conexão com fio funcionar novamente. Por favor, alguém pode me ajudar?

Verifique se sua interface tem o nome eth0 digitando ifconfig -a .

Provavelmente é chamado algo como p1p1 agora. Se for e você quiser que ele seja eth0 , adicione biosdevname=0 às opções de inicialização no seu /etc/default/grub .
