Instalei o JDK na variável Environment e tentei todas as soluções possíveis (como o aumento da memória heap, na CLI ecllipse -clear e i desmarcou o egit etc), mas nada estava funcionando.
Com base em este tópico , você precisa instalar o Platform SDK.
Isso pode ser feito no Eclipse IDE para Eclipse Committers (Eclipse Standard) instalando-o em Recursos de Desenvolvedor de Plug-ins da Plataforma Eclipse .
Como alternativa, instale-o em: Ajuda → Instalar Novo Software → Atualizações do Projeto Eclipse .
Os avisos do EGit estão relacionados a outra coisa.
