Não é possível desinstalar o SQL Server 2008 R2 no Windows 7

Estou tentando desinstalar o SQL Server 2008 R2 em uma máquina com Windows 7. Eu recebo esta mensagem de erro:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server0\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2008R2\x86\sqlcab.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Eu tentei reinstalar o programa, mas ele falha no meio do caminho. Eu tentei reiniciar, mas sem sorte também. Alguma idéia de como eu posso desinstalar completamente o SQL Server 2008 para que eu possa reinstalá-lo novamente?
