O mesmo sistema operacional, o mesmo problema, mas definir o IP6 para "ignorar" funcionou para mim. Talvez você precise relogar para que isso entre em vigor?
Após inicializar o Ubuntu 12.04 de 64 bits, não consigo me conectar ao Wi-Fi, até que eu desconecte e reconecte. Isso vem acontecendo há um tempo, mas finalmente estou me cansando de me reconectar depois de uma inicialização, então estou tentando consertá-lo. Em meus esforços para solucionar problemas aqui, o que eu tenho até agora é:
Quando o Wi-Fi não está funcionando, não consigo fazer ping de endereços de rede local
Eu obtenho o mesmo comportamento conectado como um usuário diferente
Alterar as configurações de IPv6 para "ignorar" não tem efeito, apesar de IPv6 Configure Timeout
(consulte o log abaixo).
