Nenhum dispositivo encontrado ao tentar usar a GPU NVIDIA

Question

Estou tentando usar o Bumblebee para minha GPU NVIDIA e estou com erros ao executar programas.

Estou testando com um cliente do Minecraft, que realmente começa, mas falha depois de um momento.

$ primusrun java -jar Minecraft.jar
# some normal output...
primus: fatal: Bumblebee daemon reported: error: [XORG] (EE) No devices detected.

Eu posso ver o cartão bem:

$ lspci | grep 3D
01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK107M [GeForce GT 750M] (rev a1)

Esta configuração funcionou bem no Arch nesta mesma máquina. Não tenho certeza do que não está configurado corretamente.

EDITAR:

[ERROR] Cannot access secondary GPU - error: [XORG] (EE) No devices detected.

Você precisa editar o /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia (ou /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nouveau se estiver usando o driver do noveau) e especificar o BusID correto seguindo as instruções nele contidas.

seu xorg.conf deve ficar assim, por exemplo:

Section "Device"
    Identifier     "DiscreteNvidia"
    Driver         "nvidia"
    VendorName     "NVIDIA Corporation"
    BoardName      "GeForce XXXXX"
    BusID          "PCI:2:0:0"

descubra e substitua XXXX pelos comandos exatos BoardName e BusID com o comando:

sudo nvidia-xconfig --query-gpu-info

Após esse reinício, sudo service lightdm restart ou reinicialização funcionará.

Em /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia , descomente

BusID "PCI:01:00:0"

e substitua por

BusID "PCI:0x:00.0"

em que x é o número que você vê na lista lspci ao lado de "controlador 3D", que deve ser sua placa nvidia
