It is the default behavior that all of the text will be selected. Ao trabalhar em tabelas, a aba irá se mover entre as células da tabela.

Para mover para a próxima aba de tabulação ou tabulação, você precisa mudar para usando CTRL + Tab ao trabalhar em tabelas.
