Eu tenho um host ESXi 5 (gratuito) e o vSphere Client. Gostaria de atualizar para u1, mas não consigo encontrar o caminho para isso. Atualizações são arquivos ZIP com módulos nele; nenhum instalador. O cliente vSphere não possui um módulo de atualização.

Então você instalou o vsphere, mas não encontrou o utilitário de atualização. Eu ainda estou na v4.1, então talvez eles tenham se livrado disso, mas deve haver um aplicativo chamado "vSphere Host Update Utility 4.0". Abra isso, ele deve detectar os hosts em sua rede.
