nginx url reescreve com substituição de string

Question

Eu preciso pegar se meus URLs contiverem um pequeno substr, manter o URL como está e reescrever somente essa pequena parte, como posso fazer isso?

Por exemplo:

http://foobar.com/foo-bar-substrtocatch-baz 

deve se tornar

http://foobar.com/foo-bar-changedsubstr-baz
