wifi não funciona após a atualização para 16.04 (módulo wl não encontrado)

Já tentei quase tudo na internet. Ter desligado a inicialização segura via bios também.

Supondo que você esteja executando o kernel 4.4.8, nenhum dos seus módulos dkms foi construído para o novo kernel, incluindo o broadcom-sta-dkms que você acabou de adicionar.

Para obter o broadcom-sta-dkms instalado, você precisará:

  1. terminal aberto
  2. digite sudo dkms build broadcom-sta/6.30.223.271
  3. digite sudo dkms install broadcom-sta/6.30.223.271

então dkms status deveria ter mudado de:

broadcom-sta, 6.30.223.271: added

para:

broadcom-sta, 6.30.223.271: 4.4.8-040408-generic, x86_64: installed

e:

modinfo wl #(should now work)

Você precisará executar ações semelhantes em seus outros módulos dkms para que eles funcionem novamente. A inicialização segura deve permanecer desativada no BIOS.
