Erro no carregamento do DVD de instalação do Ubuntu 14.04

A instalação chega à tela do Ubuntu onde está carregando, clico no botão esquerdo para ver o código e aqui está o que está acontecendo:

Depois, há muitas coisas que acontecem em um segundo, e eu não consegui escrever. Ele me envia para uma tela que diz:

(Desculpe se há algum erro de ortografia, eu traduzi a partir de caligrafia. E pelo jeito que eu não sou dos EUA, eu não sei porque diz "en_US.UTF-8 ... feito", e o tempo marcado na assinatura parece ser também dos EUA.)

Pelo erro de entrada / saída, eu suspeito que seu leitor de CD / DVD pode estar falhando, talvez você deva tentar fazer um por JorgeArtware 21.07.2014 / 01:05

Como alterar o formato de data / hora para o inglês, preservando as configurações regionais do meu próprio país? Acabou de baixar o código-fonte do nautilus, mas alguns arquivos parecem estar faltando
