14.04 wifi não consegue conectar “warn Connection connection disconnected (reason -3)”

Nova instalação do 14.04 e não consigo me conectar a uma rede wifi funcional ("Bricks and Scones" é o nome do ponto de acesso no log abaixo). Outros dispositivos (por exemplo, o android que estou usando para postar isso) se conectam muito bem. Não tenho certeza do que há de errado com minha configuração. Eu estou olhando para o syslog, mas ainda não consigo resolver o que está errado. O que esses avisos significam?

Pouco, mas seu log tem mensagens em comum com um postado no blog zeroset . Seu (e meu) problema era que alguns adaptadores e pontos de acesso interagem mal no modo N. A solução é desativar o modo N e, assim, mudar para um modo mais lento.

Do seu log, não parece que você tenha um adaptador Intel, mas, se fizer isso, você pode tentar a solução da zeroset:

  

Solução temporária

     

Para uma solução temporária, por ex. para verificar se a solução proposta ajuda   para a sua configuração, recarregue o módulo do kernel iwlwifi com a opção    11n_disable definido como 1, para desativar o 802.11N, por ex. por

sudo sh -c 'modprobe -r iwlwifi && modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=1'
     

Você   será perguntado por sua senha sudo como você precisa de privilégios de raiz para   recarregar um módulo do kernel.

     

Solução permanente

     

Para desabilitar permanentemente o 802.11N no driver, adicione a linha

options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1
     

para /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf

"Temporário" aqui significa que ele será revertido assim que você reiniciar.

Eu estava tendo um problema semelhante, mas não dispositivo poderia se conectar, mesmo com ethernet. Estou colocando minha solução aqui, porque esse é o resultado do google superior da mensagem de erro.

Eu consertei isso desligando o roteador e ligando-o novamente .

Portanto, para qualquer smartass como eu, que começar a analisar os seus registos para diagnosticar o problema, e ver Connection disconnected (reason -3) e ainda não tentaram reiniciar o router ... faça isso antes de googling em.
