Downgrading VLC 2.0.1 - 1.1.12

Question

O VLC 2.0.1 está se comportando de forma estranha e, como não parece oferecer qualquer aumento no desempenho acima de 1,1.12 Eu gostaria de rebaixar para o último. No entanto, isso parece não ser trivial.

Depois de executar esses comandos:

sudo apt-get remove --purge vlc
sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:videolan/stable-daily
sudo apt-get update 

O VLC 2.0.1 deve ter sumido, assim como o ppa do qual eu o obtive. No entanto, ainda não é possível instalar o VLC 1.1.12. Quando tento, recebo uma mensagem de erro sobre dependências quebradas:

Adicione novamente o ppa do qual você fez o download 2.0.1 e use ppa-purge . Mais informações podem ser encontradas aqui:
