KVM no Ubuntu: encaminhamento de porta para uma VM guest

Question

Eu instalei o kvm e configurei vários guests em um servidor usando o vmbuilder. Aqui está a seguinte configuração:

server host1 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) ->  guest vm1 (192.168.0.3)
                               ->  guest vm2 (192.168.0.4)

Onde xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx é o endereço IP de correção do host1.

Gostaria de me conectar à vm1 usando o seguinte comando:

ssh username@host1 -p 2222

Eu tentei fazer isso adicionando a seguinte regra no iptables:

sudo iptables --table nat --append PREROUTING --protocol tcp --destination xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx --destination-port 2222 --jump DNAT --to-destination 192.168.0.3:22

Mas tenho um tempo limite quando estou a correr:

ssh username@host1 -p 2222
