Nvidia optimus hdmi tutorial não está funcionando corretamente

Após instalar recentemente o ubuntu 12.04 Desktop Edition lts no meu laptop equipado com nvida optimus (ASUS N53J) eu tentei fazer o hdmi funcionar usando o método descrito neste guia aqui . Eu sou capaz de mover meu mouse para fora da tela, mas a sessão do LXDE não aparece no meu monitor externo. Eu tentei com 2 monitores diferentes e muitas reinicializações sem sucesso. Eu instalei o bumblebee com sucesso e tanto a placa gráfica nvidia quanto os gráficos integrados da Intel rodam bem no monitor do laptop.

Aqui está uma pasta do terminal de onde iniciei a sessão. Nota: Repetir em 1 segundo repete a mensagem para sempre.

Acho que algo deu errado ao iniciar a sessão do LXDE (vejo muitas mensagens com falha), então espero que vocês possam ajudar. Se você precisar de mais detalhes sobre o sistema ou sobre como eu o instalei, terei prazer em fornecê-los.

Você realmente deseja executar uma nova sessão no outro monitor, ou apenas deseja executar aplicativos (como o mplayer) no outro monitor? Não fiquei claro ao ler sua pergunta.

Eu tenho um ASUS N56VM e consegui executar o mplayer no monitor externo (conectado com HDMI) usando o bumblebee. O áudio não funciona, infelizmente. Eu segui as instruções sob o título "tela extra" neste link:

Aqui está uma cópia / colagem das informações desse link:

  

Para usar um monitor externo através do chip nvidia, o poder   gerenciamento deve ser desativado para isso. Editar   /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf e altere PmMethod = auto para   PmMethod = none (duas vezes).

(apenas blob) Em /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf, altere   KeepUnusedXServer = false para KeepUnusedXServer = true. Remova o UseEDID   e opção "AutoAddDevices" "false" linhas em   /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia. Acione uma partida do servidor X com   optirun true.

     

Antes de executar um aplicativo no monitor externo, ajuste o   caminho da biblioteca, se necessário (ou removê-lo para o nouveau) e execute:

     

export DISPLAY =: 8   LD_LIBRARY_PATH = / usr / lib / nvidia-current: $ LD_LIBRARY_PATH

     

Então comece seu programa a sua escolha (sem optirun), ele deve   aparecer no monitor externo.
