Não é possível adicionar repos após a atualização para 12.04 LTS

Sou um novato completo em Linux. Acabei de atualizar de 10.04 para 12.04 LTS e todos os tipos de coisas começaram a dar errado. Um dos principais problemas é o fato de não poder adicionar repos.

Exemplo:

sudo add-apt-repositório ppa: team-xbmc

Eu não tenho ideia do que fazer a seguir. Devo apenas descartar esta instalação e começar do zero ou isso é solucionável? O librtmp.so.0 também aparece em logs de erros que eu comecei a receber do XBMC (não tenho certeza se isso é uma informação relevante).

Tente baixar o pacote na página link

escolha sua arquitetura (amd64 / i386), escolha um espelho e escreva o terminal:

wget url-of-the-file.deb
dpkg -i file.deb

é tudo. Funciona para mim.

A versão do librtmp0 do PPA team-xbmc é mais nova que a versão no Precise (12.04), então será mantida por padrão.

Para corrigir esse problema, instale a versão exata:

sudo apt-get install librtmp0=2.4~20110711.gitc28f1bab-1

Esse "downgrade" o levará de volta ao pacote distro e tudo começará a funcionar novamente.

Parece que você não tem este lib instalado, então instale-o: sudo apt-get install librtmp0 .

Você também pode precisar de python-pycurl: sudo apt-get install python-pycurl
