Como posso modificar o índice automático do Nginx para gerar uma versão JSON do índice em vez de HTML? Ou existe um módulo que já faz isso?

"Sim, aqui está você. Acontece que eu usei o netbsd pkgsrc, então é uma limpeza patch que fiz para a compilação do pacote. deve funcionar com netbsd versão nginx-0.8.20.
