A restauração do Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials falha ao ser montada

Estou configurando o Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials pela primeira vez. Eu sou capaz de fazer backup de um cliente de teste que executa o Windows 7 Ultimate. Todas as Atualizações da Microsoft disponíveis foram aplicadas ao cliente e ao servidor.

Quando tento restaurar a partir de um backup usando o Painel do Windows Server Essentials na máquina cliente, recebo um erro informando que a restauração parou de funcionar.

Também estou vendo dois erros no log de eventos.

Encontrei alguns relatórios antigos do ano passado informando que a atualização do Windows KB3023562 era o problema, mas não houve alteração após a desinstalação do patch. Eu também tentei desligar o firewall no cliente e no servidor, mas isso não mudou nada. Eu fiz um reparo no banco de dados de backup e nenhum erro foi encontrado.

Eu nunca montei um backup com sucesso, então não sei qual poderia ser o problema.
