Como instalar o KDE no Ubuntu GNOME?

Eu quero instalar o KDE no meu Ubuntu, mas eu quero usar apenas o KDE e remover o GNOME. Eu quero manter meus dados no computador. O que devo fazer?

Como eu vejo que você quer remover completamente o Gnome e usar o KDE, você pode usar o script purebuntu

  1. Faça o download do arquivo purebuntu.py do repositório do GitHub .

    wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/aysiu/purebuntu/master/purebuntu.py
    
  2. Instale o pacote apt-rdepends usando o comando terminal

    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install apt-rdepends
    
  3. Execute o script purebuntu.py informando, você deseja remover ubuntu-gnome-desktop e continue instalando kubuntu-desktop

    python purebuntu.py --remove ubuntu-gnome-desktop --keep kubuntu-desktop > apt-command
    

    Isso gerará e produzirá um longo comando apt-get em um arquivo chamado apt-command .

  4. Abra o arquivo apt-command e copie o comando gerado. Em seguida, cole o comando no terminal e pressione Enter

Isso removerá pacotes de ubuntu-gnome-desktop e instalará kubuntu-desktop . Esteja avisado que, o sistema pode entrar em estado intacto do Kubuntu. Pode ser necessário instalar os pacotes extras que você instalou novamente.
