Bloquear bate-papo no site do Gmail com o SonicWALL TZ 180 Enhanced OS

Question

Temos um SonicWALL TZ 180 com Enhanced OS.

Queremos bloquear o aplicativo da web de bate-papo no site do gmail, mas não bloquear todo o site do Gmail.

Liguei o IPS e todas as mensagens instantâneas para evitar.

Alguma idéia?

Eu vi um post sobre como editar o arquivo host do computador local, mas prefiro fazê-lo no nível do gateway.

Eu pesquisei e encontrei:

google have deliberately setup gmail with a way to allow companies to block just chat. All they need to do is to block chatenabled.mail.google.com and google chat won't work. Using a https session won't help as gmail will still check that it has acces through this URL before proceeding.

Parece que tudo o que você precisa fazer é simplesmente bloquear um URL.
