end_request erro de e / o, dev setor sdc xxxx - falha do SSD?

Estou executando o Ubuntu 12.04 e parece que meu SSD está falhando em mim. Depois de um tempo arbitrário, o disco imprime apenas end_request i/o error, dev sdc sector xxx quando eu insiro um comando como ls ou qualquer outra coisa. Isso pode acontecer depois de 24 horas ou apenas alguns minutos.

Todos os testes SMART (curto / estendido) são aprovados e não há setores realocados, embora eu não tenha certeza se os SSDs lidam com isso como os tipos magnéticos mais antigos.

A contagem de falhas do programa parece ser o problema evidente no log do SMART. 4745980543444 falha? São quase 5 trilhões?

Existe algo que eu possa fazer especialmente diferente de uma unidade de disco rígido normal?

Você cruzou 5184 (recentemente), o que parece ainda mais relevante.
